RECENT PONDERINGS

Oh look another entry...i have to admit things are getting better....better all the time...whether they look like it or not....we have an amazing hope....ok so ive gone from hating my job to being very ok with my job in many ways....i can see God working in me in my job which i am very thankful for....something i believed He sparked from a simple conversation a couple of days ago when someone asked...why do you believe you are at PF Chang's and also kinda along the same lines what do you feel like God is doing at PF Chang's...which is a really good question to ask yourself at any station in life...first of all because it takes your eyes off you and off of naval gazing and putst them on Him...which He is so much better to look at than your naval...and even better the more we behold Him the more we become like Him...or the more of Him we hold kindof.....its amazing Hes inside and working out through us....tonight i found something simply amazing....one of my Dad's little tokens for me...one that only He could get to me in the way He did on a receipt from a CD i just bought...it was a verse from the Message-Matthew 5:48b "Live out your God created identity, live generously and graciously towards others, the way God lives toward you." that is such an amazing and exciting verse.  That's definitely a verse to live by.  It makes you excited about living, especially the more you meditate on the wonderful grace of God and how good He is to us....it just makes you want to be like David...who though he was severely persecuted by Saul sought out someone from his lineage to show compassion and grace to.  Our Father owns everything, ponder that not cuz its a scripture...eat it chew it up devour it....He is all powerful....He gives and takes away....He longs to give and to be gracious to us...i was even pondering the other day just how, though the movie Bruce Almighty is kindof goofy in the way it shows bruce having all that power, but the thing is God actually wants to give us His children that kindof power, but He must have the character built within us so that He is glorified through our use of the power and blessings He has given us....He only ever takes from us to grow us to build us...because He loves us.  God is love, wonderful best for you and everyone else love...Job was better in the end was He not...though He suffered much and endured much God was still glorified...and Job was more blessed than ever before....believe Him.  If He says do something do it.  Blessed be His name.  So regardless of your circumstance get down and press forward and don't get so naval gazing. Continue to ask what is He doing not what the circular motion of what am I doing.  Cuz what you are doing only matters as it relates to what is He doing.  You will walk in a desert as long as you are not seeking what He is doing.  You will think about what you should have done would have done and couldve done in Egypt/bondage.You will not past the test and you will keep calling things God that are not even God.  You will walk around in circles over and over.  The God of all creation lives inside of you don't forget that and He wants to show it.  God be glorified.  There is nothing sweeter or truer than His Word.  Eat it devour it speak it.  Eat Him breathe Him.  He is so good.
